BoatUS Cooperating Group Discount ENDS

On Wed, Feb 24, 2021, BoatUS sent us the following message.  Too bad they took almost two months to tell us about this one, too!

Dues Changes Effective January 2021

Effective January 4, 2021 the price of basic BoatUS Membership dues increased to $25 annually. We wish we could continue to offer a Membership discount to our Cooperating Groups, however we have faced regular increases in operating costs over the last 10 years. This dues increase is the first time we have raised the price over that time. This change is necessary to maintain the great services and benefits our Members enjoy. We will continue to offer 10% off Unlimited On-the-Water towing services and we hope that you will continue to support BoatUS. We still think the price of BoatUS Membership as an amazing value and encourage you to share all the reasons to renew with your group or encourage your boaters to join if they are not yet Members!

We have recently sent out renewal letters with this Cooperating Group discount still included.

We'll have to change the references to this now-former "perk" which could take some time, since it's all over the 'site as well as a lot of our correspondence.

If you see one of those pesky things, post it here and we'll track 'em all down with your help.

Before I renew.... Based on what we see BoatUS is not giving discounts to any establishment anymore. So everyone now pays full price no matter what organization you are affiliated with?  Also how do you get the 10% off on unlimited towing?  My renewal bill shows unlimited at $139. Not sure if that is discounted.
