Turnbuckle replacement

I've seen lots about replacement interval of standing rigging but not of turnbuckles.  Are they normally replaced with standing rigging or do they last longer?  If so, anyone know a replacement interval?

Mike : When I replaced all the standing rigging I also replaced the complete turnbuckle.
I kept all of the old rigging with its' turnbuckles just incase I ever found a broken strand I had a ready made spare to replace while a new one was being made.
