The hull number of our C34 is CTYP1292G495.  Is this a '94 or a '95?  We recently read on the website that there were only (2) 95's but it appears ours may be a third.  Any thoughts?

PK : I believe that your hull # 1292 was layed in July 1994 as a 1995 model.

Thanks, I had seen the referenced page, but wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something and that the Wiki was wrong about only 2 '95's made.  Wanted to make sure that by adding myself to the Community Wiki as a '95 I wasn't out of line. :D

My hull # is CTYP1291C494, manufactured in March of 1994 according to the code.

Looks like you are the next hull that came down the production line, #1292, with over a year time span between hulls. If memory serves me correctly, wasn't there an earthquake in between those dates? Like right in the middle of a World Series game?

Maybe that explains the time lag. I heard rumors that a hull mold for the new wide transom 34 slipped out of the jig and cracked during the earthquake was the reason only a few boats were made during that span.

My timeline may be off, anyone remember? or can't forget?

That's the one I was thinking of. We don't have too many of those around Chicago.

The C34 molds burned, that's why there was a lag in C34 production and the 1st MK II C34 is #1295 in 1995.

Hi everyone.  I recently purchased my C34 #1289 and always thought it was a 1994 model.  Its very close to 1292 so I too wonder - is it a '94 or a '95?  Can anyone verify?

Thanks in advance
