ENGINE PANEL

Sunbrella Cover
This is the cover that I keep over the engine panel while it's in the slip. It keeps the sun's UV off of the panel/instruments, especially the clear plastic cover. It's held on with Velcro. Most important is that the "fuzz" is glued on the boat side while the "hooks" are sewn on the cover. The sun's UV will "eat up" the hooks!!!

Engine Instrument Panel
As you can see I've covered the entire panel with a plastic (Lexan) clear cover. I cut holes for the KEY, STARTER button, BLOWER switch and HI-TEMP alarm "lift to test". I also cut out a slot for the Lexan to go around and also labeled the ENGINE CUT OFF. You might also note that I have flexible black rubber covers over all of the switches to make them more weather resistant.
