I searched but couldn't find anything.  To remove the teak under the table, do I simply unscrew the pedestal base?  I don't want to begin something and get into a quagmire of something I didn't know about beforehand.  Thanks. :)

Hi Brad,
I assume you want to remove the teak and holly sole (floorboard) from under the table. I'm aboard my boat now and looked. It is that simple. I see 5 smallish screws around the perimeter of the floorboard and then 6 large screws at the pedestal base that go through the floorboard and the fibreglass base below.  At least that's how it is on my 1994 Mk 1.5.

Brad : Just remove the screws from the table pedestal.  With the table removed you'll have some small screw that hold the teak/holly piece in place - just remove those screws and lift up the teak/holly piece.

I found the Catalina probably used a drill to install all the teak/holly screws and imbedded them into those pieces of flooring.  When I replaced those strips I added #6 finishing washers to those screws.
