File size too large

Stu, it took hundreds of hours of work to get features useable on the c25 site.

I agree, focus on simple method. I'm not sure what the actual file size limit on uploads?

If we try to add multiple pics in one post, is there a total limit?

Paul, when you upload photos here it tells you exactly what the limits are.  Right there.

Allowed file types: pdf, jpg, gif, png, txt, doc
Restrictions: 5 per post, maximum total size 450KB, maximum individual size 200KB

I just installed the add-on on to the bbs.  Images over 1024 in any dimension will be resized down to that.
Jpeg's will also be recompressed at 75% image quality.

I Attached and uploaded an image (above) and you can see the results (click on the image to see full resized image) 


The original was a 1.6 MB image size 3000 × 2835 pixels which was automatically convert to 118.65 kB, 1024x967. 

Seems to work pretty well.

Works a treat, so no need to test it further ;)

FYI. In chrome, when a file is being uploaded, the progress is shown in the lower left corner of the browser window. I mention this because it will take longer to upload some files.
