In line fuel filter leak

Those of us with the OLD engines didn't seem to have these kind of issues, since the 85 filters we put in between the  tank and the engines seemed to be enough.   :shock:

Those old round pumps have an internal filter....

Keep in mind that even with a primary a growth can occur in the fuel lines or in the secondary filter. Also when changing a primary that is pretty dirty occasionally an errant piece of crud gets on the wrong side of the filter. The Facet / Purolator cubes don't do well with crud..

I replace a fair number of fuel pumps that did not have pre-filters. When they are cubes I get the pre-filter from Aircraft Spruce..
