My fuel gauge has been erratic for some time, I strongly believe that the sending unit is the cause. Can not find a duplicate unit locally. The only units available are the Tempo and Universal Teleflex units. Has anyone installed these units?
Are they reliable?

There's always my favorite motto:  keep track of your engine hours and add 5 gallons of fuel for every 10 hours.  See my previous posts on my impression of fuel gages when we all have operating (?) engine hour meters.  The gauges go south so much faster than hour meters, so why bother?

Count, count, count...

If you do a search on fuel sending unit you will find a solution that I posted in January of this year,
