I would suggest your local vo-tech (high school) some are just starting their primary body shop classes. Or contact your local EAA chapter Experimental Aircraft Association they may also have hands or seminars I know I instructe one every so often. Local Yacht clubs have lots of talent there and can direct you for a great result cheap maybe beer and pizzia.
Good Luck  :D

Had my riser rebuilt here and used some Firesleeve ( Strato-Flex 2650-32  s/a Aeroquip AE102-32 ) you  can check locally at your friendly Aerospace or Industrial place that sells hydraulic hose assemblies. I finished the ends with liquefied RTV to dip the ends ( has appx. 375 + temp. range ) , and secure both ends with worm screw clamps and safety (.040" ). And leave enough  "bag" for heat envelope. My O.E.M. was glass tap and safety wired which looked a P.O.S., I'll try to post some pictures of this .

Regards.

rj,
when my buddy duped them he finger jointed them in the center , brought them to the boat and used gorilla glue after the glue cured i just ran a bead of super glue on the seam . when you lay your new ones up make sure your have a refence for both ends and especially in the center to keep every thing looking good .

Good Luck to You

Yes replaced the O.E.M. with ones a friend made (duplicated) out of Ipay Brazilian Iron wood sanded smooth and applied them with 3-M moulding tape that you can buy at your local Auto parts store. Before laying them up, fill screw holes , clean good with Acetone , have a friend help you lay the strips in place, and apply pressure. This does work, it also works well on  the mast boot application, top and bottom and then clear bead of RTV , the sail slot had packed with White RTV with a slight taper on the top , 3 yrs. later no leaks mast boot and eyebrows still where I put them.

Good Luck

Changed a buddy's impeller. Had no gasket, did not leak ,but did install a wax paper stlyle gasket with a very light smear of D-C compound on both sides of gasket. Ops checked it a slip (F&R) for appx. 30 min. no leaks. B.T.W. check for trueness on cover you may have to lap to be sure it isnt warped.
