after a rain I have water in cockpit only thing in bow is ac water is also in starboarb seat all water is forward has any one else had this problem and did you fix it.i have put weight back of boat.thanks for your help

what size sheet line for head sail?Mine slipps out of winch,could it be streched

I'm going to install motor mounts on Lucky.I'm looking at metalstic cushyfloat sold by Mission Sales And Supply in Mansfield Tx The adjuster is separate from the mount.No need to raise the engine.Has any one used these or know someone who has and what the results were?

Installed am fm radio and I have static. Antenna is  six feet away from radio. Power wire connected to battery.Ground to panel ground bus.Battery charger is one foot from radio,when charger is turned off stactic goes away.Is charger to close to radio?What can be done other than move charger?

 :shock:Last month I had Lucky Pulled  out for bottom paint.She had 10 quarter size blister.These were the only blisters visable,the hull was smooth when I rubbed it,but when the workmen sanded the hull several small pimple type blisters appeared (40).Marina 1700.00 to repair.Sense hull was smooth before sanding and after I decieded to paint over them.Hull looks good.Will pull next year and see if it was a bad decision.What would you have done?

 My furler(3250 hood) has lost the bottom bearings.My search for a new furler has led me to the hood 808 or the alado furler.The alado has a good  write up in PS Febuary 2009.If any one has any experience with one of these furlers  ,your comments would be valued.`I feel my 20+ year old 3250 is not worth repairing

My 3250 hood roller furling has lost the bearings from the bottom of the drum.I know this can be repaired,but since it is 20+ years,I am considering repacing it.Iwould like to know if any one has the Alado furling system on your boat? I would like to know the good and bad of it. thanks

I have water in the skeg on my 1986 catalina #13.I found the bolts on packing gland loose,one full turn.I have not had a chance to sail or motor yet,thisis when water gets in to bilge.If packing gland does not solve water leak,andthere is crack in rudder post ,how do i repair and what material  do i use to fill crack?

     The bottom bearings have come out of the drum on my 3250 furl.  This unit is mounted on my 34 Catalina 1986 - hull # 13; I would assume that the Hood 3250 is the original.
  If I place a screwdriver between the drum and the fairlead arm, I can pry the drum up approximately 1". 
What holds the drum down so that this will not occur?

Also, can I get the Norseman cone out of the terminal shaft so that I can replace the bottom bearings?
Has anyone had a similar problem?
