Not an MK.  1990 Tall Rig w/walk thru transom.  I'll try to attach a photo of the cover.

It is made with 600 Denier solution dried polyester.  It is a lightweight, breathable fabric.  It was produced in Canada by a company called Top Value and was customized for our boat.  We are asking $1500 for it.

We have an all weather boat cover for sale.  Bought it new in 2007.  Used only 2 winter seasons.  Color:  Silver Grey.  Only reason for selling is the boat is being moved to the Gulf and we don't anticipate using it again.  It is an over-the-boom and over-the-life lines type of cover.  Zipper doors on starboard and port sides.  You can stand up inside the the cockpit with this cover.  If interested please let us know.

Main Message Board / Cockpit cushions for sale
« on: March 29, 2009, 02:35:56 PM »
Todd and I purchased new cockpit cushions from C Cushions when we were at the Miami boat show in Feb.  Of course, we didn't "need" new cushions because the ones we have (by C Cushion) are perfectly fine.  They were just the wrong color and don't color-coordinate with the canvas and non-skid on Eroica II.  Therefore our existing cushions (gray with blue pin stripping) will be available for sale. If anyone is interested please let us know. They really are in great shape. Our boat is a 1990 34 (the first year with the walk through transom) which does make a difference on cushion configuration.

Fleet 4 / burgee file

Joe wanted a burgee designed for our fleet.  Open to any ideas.  In the meantime, here is something I slapped together.  Let me know what you think.

We have a couple of Maltese. They have been a great add to our sailing adventures. Cooper is 5 pounds and Jack is 9 pounds. They are non shedding and are natural born sailor dogs. But after getting the two critters we had to move to the Catalina 34 from a 28, get a bigger truck, buy a bigger bed and invest in a dink for the potty breaks when on the hook. I wouldn't change it for the world. Check out www.cooperandjack.com.

Just a quick note. I replaced my Cowls with the Nicro Solar vents (I believe it to be the 2000 series stainless) and they work great. As far as the water intrusion "not a problem" unless you may be running a power sprayer. You also have the ability of closing them down without removing them. They work day and night. They do better for circulation then the cowls. I have three on the boat and use one as exaust to keep the circulation through the boat.

I had replaced my cowl vents with the Nicro 2000 plus solar vent. Couldn't be happier. It actually fit pretty well the where the cowls go, with very little overhang. Its not as high profile as the cowls, and my sheets don't come anywhere near popping them off as might happen with a cowl. And these will give 24/7 ventilation.

I appreciate everones input. Joe, I will be over to look at your halyards this weekend. I think the Stay set X 3/8 is the direction I will be going. Thanks again!

Hello All,

I am looking at changing old halyards for new and have read the postings from the past. Has anyone had a look at Sta-SetX Plus? I was going to go with 3/8 or 7/16 but wondered about the stiffness of the plus version.

Absolutely! They give incredible value to the association and the information they know as well as where one might find it is irreplaceable.

Joe,

If the are broken you know all you have to do is come down the dock and ask Joni, since I believe we have broken everything there is to break on the boat! If it is broken we can pick it up for you at Regal Plastic in KC. If you are simply talking about decoration, well I guess thats another JONI issue. But all the emergency gear is back on the boat "aesthetically pleasing or not"!
