I am contemplating the installation of a water maker system on my 1987 C34.

It happens that I have my boat at Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Now living without my boat by the San Francisco bay. I'll be back by October for my winter Mexican excursion. Because my boat location I have to engineer the installation here in the USA to be mounted in Mexico. NO mistakes.
:D
I would like to hear some suggestions about water maker preferred brand, the best place for installation and anything else you could think about it.

I am thinking about the possibility to remove the small water tank under the starboard location and use the space for installation of a compact system over this space. The compartment is closed to the sink plumbing.....  Any comments?

Also, I need the dimensions for the storage place where the 28-gallon water tank is located.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks you all

I intent to sail as much as the wind allows me... I will make myself pretty sure that I won't run out of fuel even if I have to go 4 days without wind power. I guess that is why the cherry cans has been invented.

I wander what is the estimated M25 engine fuel consuption on my 1987 C34 fully loaded (cruise mode) I am going down to Baja California. Over there I expect running with moderate currents and winds.

Thanks all of you for the info.
I was able to feed the radome wire harness thru the mast lights & accessories conduit. I must said that I cut the radome connector in orther to feed it in.   Next will be solder the radome wires at the mast end.  Juan.

Hi fellows

I am installing a Furuno 1623 radar on my 87 MkI C34, haul # 451.
My question is:

1.- How large is the conduit diameter for the deck light?
2.- Would the radar dome cable fit through this conduit?
3.- Is there any special known trick to feed the wire through?

Thanks in advance for the advice: D
