Kevin,
Sorry for not responding sooner. But really not much more to add to what I already noted. I don't race, but like to sail efficiently and the FlexoFold gave me almost a knot under sail and half a knot under power. And reduces the snag potential under sail if you have the tranny locked in reverse. I used to worry about the blades not opening fully due to barnacles or soft growth, but an occasional "over the side" scrub down keeps it clean. (Yes, I do use an anti fouling paint on it). For spring commissioning, after flushing it out, I give the gears a squirt of lithium grease and work the blades until they fold up by themselves.
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Ed

I should also note it's more forgiving when a lobster buoy line is accidentally run into!

Kevin, I had the 3 blade Michigan

I've been happy with my 3 blade FlexoFold. Picked up speed both under sail and power. Installed it a number of years ago.

Junaido,
You may have 2 separate issues. It doesn't sound like your raw water pump drip would fill the bilge fast enough to trigger the bilge pump frequently.
Determine if the bilge water is fresh or salt. If fresh it could be a leak in your fresh water system. Is the water pump under sink cycling at all?
Is the stern bilge exit going below the water level when motoring? Could be suctioning water back to the bilge.
How much water is flowing back to bilge after it pumps out? Could be enough to trigger the pump to cycle on again.
A few things to consider...

Ed

For what it's worth, here's mine before steps added to rungs. Long enough for me and my wife manages ok. She's 5'5" and I'm 6'5"

Pete,
Is your issue with the depth of the ladder or the foot pain of the bare rungs? My ladder, which I thought was standard, has 5 rungs, including the top hinge one. A handhold is above the hinge and serves as the final step. Is yours like that? Putting steps on the rungs make a huge difference in foot comfort.

Noah, do you also drain the HX, so the LimeAway can advance throughout? Otherwise I would think it's just backed up in the hose?

Ricowr,
Over the winter I removed my OB to rebuild/repair. Thought I was in a Depco catalog but turned out to be an OB catalog lol! OB/Ingersoll Rand got back to my request for help and pointed me to Burt Process Co who cover the US Northeast. They had stock and were more interested in selling me a new one instead of rebuilding. I think they are in Ohio. Customer service at OB/IR may be able to point you to a more local distributor.
I ultimately called Depco and they were great! Did the rebuild, good pricing and customer service. Of course they are across the continent from you.
I too got my OB from Ken when I replaced my Sherwood, he provided the studs too!
Good luck,
Ed

Noah,
I've been contemplating a similar approach, but mounting the panel on the cabin top in front of mast. In that location maybe put the plug low on the mast and running the wire down the mast and exit in the bilge, assuming you are stepped there? Another option for the plug could be in the anchor locker and mount the panel on the foredeck?
I'll look forward to hearing what you decide to do!

Ed

I didn't intentionally avoid saying their age, I was more intent on understanding how uninstalled batteries could pass the hydrometer test and multimeter test one day and be totally dead the next. I wasn't even sure at the time of their age as my logs were on the boat and I was home.

That was my question too Alex and reason for posting. They are old,8+ years, so I've gotten my moneys worth. Not going to get them tested Kevin. Don't want to haul them around any more than I have too. Getting new ones. Just waiting for my local battery distribution center to get a new shipment in from there distribution center. Should be Monday.

Ron, no as I mentioned, nothing works, volt meter on electric panel doesn't budge either. I'm getting new batteries. I'm more interested in how batteries can look good via hydrometer and multimeter one day and the next day be dead.

Hi all electrical engineer, I've got a mystery. My 2 6 volt and 1 12 volt batts all passed hydrometor test and showed 12.5 volts yesterday. Put them in my car last night, brought them to the boat today and installed the 6 volt ones first. Nothing, volt meter on panel showed nothing. Checked with my multimeter, nothing.
Tried the hydrometer and passed, fully charged
Checked the 12 volt batt sitting on thr cabin floor with multimeter. Nothing.
Thoughts, before I go off and buy new ones?
Thanks
