My insurance company is giving me grief over a recent marine survey comment regarding the propane locker on my '89 Catalina #923. The surveyor indicated the instalation wasn't up to snuff, as the plastic locker box opened to the inside of the boat. The plastic propane locker box sits in the compartment under the back operator's seat. It's sealed, has vent lines and has the electric shut off valve. I figured it was a factory installation and is good enuf. Is the surveyor misinformed, or is this an improper instalation?
