Title: Leaking aqua pump

Every time I start my engine my pump leaks copious water into my bilge on my 1986 cat34... Help

Is the water from your raw water pump?  If so rebuild or replace.  Do a search here on raw water pump and you will get more than enough information.   FWIW "copious water'' I would not use the boat or leave it with the seacock open.  Just a suggestion.

Chris : Look in WiKi under water pumps.

Looks like you are in fresh water, but water leaking from your raw water pump will run down the engine front and over time will rust a hole in the engines oil pan!! 

I'd get it fixed or buy a new pump and have the old one rebuilt as a spare.
