Great article in this month's (September) "Sail" magazine. I tried to find it online to post a link but couldn't.
Why not tell us what it says?
Because it's a 3 page article on replacing injectors. And I don't have a scanner. But if you're going to do your injectors it's worth buying a copy if you don't subscribe...
Ted : If you look at the old Mainsheet Tech Notes, they tell you how to change the injectors on a M25XP, the tools need(wrench/socket size) and some other tips!!!!
Why not read something specific about the injectors on YOUR engine, rather than a general article overview???

I was hoping you would write the Cliff Notes.
Everyone knows sailboaters are cheap.
I read the article and I'll take a stab at the cliff's notes:
Clean the engine. Close the fuel shut off valve at the fuel tank. Disconnect the fuel lines from the injectors. Remove the enjectors and be extra careful to keep any debris from falling into the cylanders. If any debris falls in take a shop vac and tape a hose to it that can fit into the cylander and attempt to suck out any debris that fell in (but try to not have to do this step). Take the injectors to a diesel shop to be rebuilt. Re-install and paint. Hook up fuel lines. Change filters. Open fuel shut off. Bleed fuel lines. Hopefully your engine will start! :thumb:
One of the interesting things about generic sailing magazine discussions is that they are, well, just that: generic.
Ron's excellent writeup of injector systems is that it is for our engines in our boats, a much better approach, I believe.
For example, there was such a generic writeup about fuel bleeding in a magazine, and I noted this in one of our bleeding topics:
