A few weeks ago they removed a tumor from my brain in an operation that lasted about 8 hours.
I was resigned to the fact that I would not be able to launch the 34 this year.
Today my son called and said he the bottom sanded and had started on the teak.
He said he wants to go sailing with me.
AWESOME LB!!! :clap
Hope you get out there soon and enjoy :abd:
Sounds like you've got some great kids 8)
AMEN to Kevin's post!!!
Think positive and you'll be out there sailing in no time.
Years ago I had both legs crushed in December.
Come spring I said "I will be on the boat. If I'm on crutches, I want an eye patch and a parrot for my shoulder - but I will be on my boat"!
Hang in there. :thumb:
Couldn't have said it better Kevin, best of luck and get well soon LB !!!
Prayers and best wishes at ya!! (Go sailing!) :thumb:
I've come to the conclusion that non-sailors have no idea the passion we have. We are fortunate that we have such a supportive and cohesive group. My best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Dave
Thanks everyone.
See ya sailing and I am a lucky little man.
Best wishes LB and wishing you "Fair winds and following seas".

LB,
God bless and best wishes for a quick and full recovery! Sounds like you do have great kids! I wish my kids would say that they want to go sailing with me! Sharing our sailing experience with others is what makes our passion even more wonderful. Go sailing as much as possible and enjoy each and every day.
Les
