Title: tacktick wind system

I just recieved my Entry Level Wind System   there is some info missing and wondering if anyone may have installed one of these units... What i am missing is the "Yellow instruction sheet"  which describes the auto-networking procedures  I have the miconet MN30 I have looked on their web site and can only get the manual which i have... .... can someone help me with this thanks...

I was told the most important thing in this process is the pre installation set up. You put all the wireless pieces on a table not more that a foot apart from each other. then follow the process to link each one. Once the process starts each part logs in to the master and from then on starts up when you power up. I heard failure to do this correctly will really screw things up.
a few days ago we went out to calibrate all the gear. This too was simple and we followed instruction on setting the compass heading, magnetic variations and speed. All went very smoothly. I motored along and the wife read the instructions and programed the units while sitting in the cockpit with the displays in her hands.

Give them a call and tell them you are missing the yellow sheet.  As Terry quoted it's very important to do it right and you need the yellow sheet to do that.  By the way, I'm very surprised it's not available online.   :think

I heard from the company and you dont have to network the unit anymore af of the 2010 new models.... so i am off to hire a mast climber and get it installed

Is that the lo-end $750ish version? I'm curious as to what's different than the other model?
