Title: Running Lights When Anchor Windlass Switch Turn On
Post by: dpitch65 on November 12, 2003, 04:08:58 PM
Is it normal for the running lights to turn on when I turned on the anchor windlass circuit breaker, even though the running light circuit breaker is off?

I have new 2004 Catalina 34MKII (1659).

No, not on my 2001 MkII

What does your wiring look like in back of the panel?

Welcome to the unigue world of Catalina's wring agreeing with the diagram in the manuals <smile>. I found the only way to understand what is correct to what was to trace out all the wiring. I would start with the windlass warning light which get it power from the windlass circut breaker.
