Been away on business, finally getting back to the boat.  Before I left, as I was shutting off through hulls, I felt water where it shouldn't be.  I think my "leaking water heater" is really the fresh water pump.  It has a slow leak that runs down the case, then along the mounting board, drips down on the water heater mount then runs under the water heater becoming visible at the inboard edge.  Picked up a rebuild kit.  Will fix the pump tonight.  Hopefully that will solve the problem. Will keep you posted.
