Could BLUE MOON bear the honor of 1st boat with technical questions on the new & improved C34D?

I lieu of calling Factory, does anyone recommend TYPE of sealant, i.e. particular BRAND for re-bedding straightened stanchion onto deck?

 Thanks, John

I would use either LIFECAULK or 3M 4200.  My preference would be Lifecaulk.

If you are trying to seal the stanchions with the thru deck vents for the hold tank or water tank, I have found very little which works for any length of time. The best fix I found, suggested by the surveyor, is to make a gasket out of a .125" neoprene. Then seal both sides with any good sealant.
